Uncle Bo’s has its roots deep in Topeka history. The name came from the one of the husband’s of Jim Parrish’s original investors, known to everyone as Uncle Bo. After a name was decided, construction began and utilized many elements from Topeka’s past. The floor is made from the old cobblestone that covered Topeka’s streets. The stained glass and bar came out of the old governor’s mansion, as well as some of the woodwork. It all comes together to create a beautiful venue that artists from around the world love to play at.
